Exhibition 2014

The 2014 Annual Essendon Gem & Lapidary Club Exhibition was held on the weekend of the 5th and 6th of April, at the club rooms at Cross Keys Reserve, Essendon. This year was a great year for our showcases, as there were many new displays from members, and the presentation of the new cupboards and display cases made for a good-sized collection that gave our audience lots to look at. We also had some fantastic traders attend the weekend, with lots of exciting specimens, pendants, and novelties for the crowd.

Thanks go to everyone at the club who helped put a tremendous show on this year, as well as the traders, visitors and club members working on the day. Our traders included Vic and Sehire, Vin and Nola, Des Liston Lapidary Supplies, Marijana Stokes, Lyn and Chloe, and Margaret.

Each year, the Essendon Gem & Lapidary Club holds an Annual Exhibition with member displays, demonstrations, lapidary sales and refreshments. It’s a good opportunity to buy affordable lapidary supplies, learn about the club’s crafts and how they are done, and to talk to members of the club about their hobby. Everyone is welcome at the Annual Exhibition, both members and the general public. Entry is usually very cheap (around $3 per adult) and children can attend for $1 with parents. The Annual Exhibition is held in April each year and you can find out more on our website in February/March as to the exact date.
